CAM-001	Camel Pen - ca. 1934, 5 x 14 inches in black and white. This ad is not dated, but Camel had a rather short lifespan in the 1930s due to the Depression. The article next to the ad though discusses Japanese exports and notes some figures in 1933 and then mentions "Today", so I'm guessing this was no earlier than 1934. Camels are odd and rare and just really neat pens, one that you rarely see an advert for.	$10
CRO-02	AT CROSS June 1949, from Holiday Magazine, Full Color, 5 x 14 inches, For as familiar a name as Cross is they did far less magazine advertising than many companies and generally smaller sized adverts, too. You'd think that with as famous as they were and still are that you'd see many ads, but you don't. This one features the Cross Six-Hundred noted as a smaller pencil along with the traditional Cross Century.	$9

DIX-006	Dixon Ticonderoga Pencils, set of 3 different advertisements, each measures 3 x 11 inches. Black and white. The hand written advertising is rather clever and invites you to write for a full sized Dixon Ticonderoga Pencil Sample. Not dated, but judging from a portrait of a man in suit on reverse side of one advert, I'd guess them to be from the early 1930s.	$5

FAB-002	Eberhard Faber Mongol Pencils, set of two different small advertisements. Black and White. Smaller 3 x 4.5 inch ad is for the Mongol Pencil with Superior lead that is in a Class by itself. Larger 3.5 x 10 inch ad is for Brilliant, smooth writing Mongol Colored Pencils. Both from National Geographic. Neither ad is dated, but seem to be ca. late 1940s.	$5
FOL-001	ca. 1890 D.F. Foley & Co Celebrated Gold Pens black and white advertisement. In addition to touting Foley gold nibs, this ad also mentions that they are wholesale agents for Paul Wirt Fountain pens. Beautiful Foley nib logo for 180 Broadway New York address. This small advertisement measures 1.75 x 2 inches, it is pencil dated on the back 1890, probably from Century or similar magazine.	$5

The frame isn't real fancy, but is a nice solid wood and in nice condition, as is the advertisement. The ad features Jif Waterman Ink and Ink bottle holder, a lovely desk set made of African Onyx and vest pocket pencil. Very good condition.	$20

Measures 10.75 x 16 inches.

ECL-46

Eclectic advertisement from The Ladies’ Home Journal dated 1890. Featured in the lower right corner is a premium advertisement for an un-named very beautiful eyedropper style fountain pen in black chased hard rubber, looks like double engraved gold bands. There is an exploded view of the nib-feed system. The fine print states: The manufacturer unconditionally guarantees every pen and offers to refund full purchase money in every case where it does not give satisfaction. No mention of the manufacturer though. Other adverts on this page are for a set of tools and chest, scroll saw and handy tools for the house. Measures 10.75 x 16 inches.
